We were blessed with the weather at this years Holker Hall Flower Show, 3 glorious days of brilliant blue skies and plenty of sunshine. What a show! Over 20,000 people came along this year.
It was such a great turn out with plenty of activities and demonstrations to keep guests entertained all day. There were also some new and interesting stands this year, I was next to a fabulous milliner who created beautiful hats and fascinators.
As always it was wonderful to see so many of my clients and catch up on the progress and training of their dogs – and also wonderful to meet new ones. We had a very busy 3 days introducing people to my training options and discussing their dogs needs, some of who were at the show and were looking worried about what was to come! Generally the dogs were very well-behaved and enjoyed the water we supplied on the stand for them.
I was delighted that a local radio station, BAY FM, asked me to join them on their live broadcast from the show grounds. It was fun talking on the radio, although a little distracting as we were in an open tent with lots of people looking on….hopefully you’ll like the interview, you can hear it
Here are a few images from the stand. My lovely friend Sandy Kitching (www.theearlybirddesign.com) created a beautiful illustration which we showed on the stand – this is actually the first image for my forthcoming children’s book, so I was delighted to reveal it at Holker show.
