We came to Ingrid with a German Shorthaired Pointer (Bob) who pulled like a train on the lead, was very demanding in the house, and who’s recall was not something we could confidently trust.

We had tried to address these issues with other trainers but these were mostly reward based and we never truly gained the respect of the dog through this approach. After three years of trying to work on Bob’s ‘faults’ we were not seeing any improvement, and needed some guidance. Thankfully, we found Ingrid. She provided us with a training plan, and clear instructions on what we needed to work on with Bob over the next few weeks. Be warned, the home training is time intensive – four 30 minute sessions a day – every day. Sticking to the plan, we saw improvements in Bob that we really hadn’t thought possible.

It’s now 5 weeks since we first saw Ingrid, and whilst Bob will always be in training, we now have a dog we can trust on our walks off-lead, a dog that we can walk on lead that doesn’t pull us from one interesting smell to another, and a dog that is remarkably calm around the house. Walks and activities with Bob are something we now look forward to, rather than dread.

If we ever get a new dog/puppy, we’ll be straight to Ingrid from day one to receive her wisdom and guidance.

Thank you Ingrid.
